The Blue House will accept new media registration applications for entry from February 4 to February 6, over a period of three days.

On February 2, the Blue House announced the "Notice on New Media Registration for Blue House Entry" on its official website. The Blue House stated, "The government, based on the principle of popular sovereignty, aims to expand access and reporting opportunities at the Blue House for new media in response to the evolving media landscape."
Only new media organizations wishing to newly enter the Blue House that are members of the following associations are eligible: Korea Newspaper Association, Korea Broadcasting Association, Journalists Association of Korea, Korea Internet Newspaper Association, Korea Photojournalists Association, Korea Video Journalists Association, Korea Online Newspaper Association, and Korea Internet Journalists Association.
Additionally, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria: at least two years of entry experience at the National Assembly; a total of at least five years of entry experience at two or more central government ministries or equivalent public institutions; or at least two years of new media activity experience.
The registration period is from 10:00 a.m. on February 4 to 6:00 p.m. on February 6. Applications can be submitted online or in person at the Blue House Chunchugwan Press Center.
