The guidebook contains 52 major policies across five key areas closely related to citizens' daily lives: health, welfare, and women; economy, industry, and agriculture; education, culture, sports, and tourism; urban affairs, housing, and transportation; environment, climate, and hygiene; and general administration.

Key changes include raising the eligibility criteria for livelihood and housing benefits this year, as well as increasing the basic pension and disability pension. Starting in March, a new "Integrated Medical and Care Service Project" will be launched, providing coordinated medical, nursing, and care services for the elderly and people with severe disabilities.

For young people, employment support will be provided through programs that use artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance job-seeking skills, including resume writing and interview coaching. The new Yongin IP Support Center will also open to help small and medium-sized enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs create and utilize intellectual property rights.

The citizen participation-based learning program "On Citizen Yongin Learn" will be expanded, and semiconductor education for citizens will be promoted. This year, Bojeong Library will open, and the remodeled Central Library is also scheduled to reopen. Plans are also included to expand cultural and leisure infrastructure closely connected to daily life, such as the creation of a park golf course.

The city will operate the "Again Neighbor Construction Consultation Office" to support the resettlement of citizens who have relocated due to development projects and will expand voucher taxi support for transportation-vulnerable groups. A high-precision village bus information system will be established to improve the convenience of public transportation use.

Starting this year, it will be mandatory to report the installation of electric vehicle charging facilities and to obtain liability insurance. The system for disposing of food waste will be improved. The business scope for food trucks will be expanded, and regulations allowing pets in restaurants will be fully implemented.

To enhance convenience for civil petitioners, the city will introduce an AI search system on its official website and make all civil document issuance fees from unmanned kiosks completely free of charge.

The newly produced guidebook will be available from February 2 at City Hall, the three district offices, and each administrative welfare center, and will also be posted on the City Hall website.
