Suwon City Appoints 25 SNS Supporters to Discover Hidden Charms of Suwon

Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province has appointed 25 members as 'SNS Supporters'.

The Suwon City SNS Supporters are tasked with discovering and promoting Suwon's hidden charms by reporting on and experiencing beautiful locations throughout Suwon, city policies, and cultural and tourism programs, then creating content such as articles, photos, and videos. Their activities will continue until December 31 of this year.

The articles, photos, and video content produced by the SNS Supporters will be featured on Suwon City's social media channels, including its blog, Facebook, and Instagram.

The Suwon City SNS Supporters program has been active since 2013. This year, 25 members were recruited, with 235 applicants resulting in a competition rate of 9.4 to 1.

Lee Jaejun, Mayor of Suwon, stated, "We are declaring 2026 and 2027 as the 'Years of Visiting Suwon', and I hope that the SNS Supporters will play a significant role in widely promoting Suwon so that many tourists can visit. We will actively support you so that you can find fulfillment and enjoyment in your activities."
