Visit to the Jeonse Damage Support Center
Choi Inho has been inaugurated as the 10th president of the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), announcing his vision to transform the organization into a public platform for housing supply and residential finance.

During the ceremony, President Choi expressed his ambition, stating, "We will take a leap forward as a public platform institution that comprehensively supports housing supply and residential finance for the stability of the public’s housing."
He also presented a management blueprint that includes discovering new business opportunities, making innovative improvements to existing business models, and enhancing the quality of public services. In addition, he outlined plans to leverage successful experiences such as the Dundeun Jeonse Housing and the Private Rental REITs project to discover new businesses and efficiently improve existing business models, thereby securing public value and sustainability.
Furthermore, he plans to strengthen the organization’s competitiveness by establishing a risk management system based on AX. He also expressed his determination to fundamentally reform the organization through AI-driven innovation in work processes.
As his first official activity after taking office, President Choi visited the Jeonse Damage Support Center located in Yeonje-gu, Busan. He emphasized that the organization will focus its capabilities on reinforcing the social safety net to support vulnerable groups in housing.
President Choi was appointed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on the 22nd. His term is three years from the date of inauguration. He previously served as a member of the 20th and 21st National Assembly and gained experience in housing and real estate policy as a secretary on the National Assembly’s Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee.
