This round of livelihood stabilization support funds will be distributed from February 2 to February 27, 2026. Namwon City plans to complete payments to as many citizens as possible before the Lunar New Year holiday, aiming to ease household spending burdens around the holiday and contribute to the recovery of the local economy, which has been sluggish.

The newly established support fund disbursement program integrates the entire process-from application form printing and recipient verification to payment processing-into a single system. This enables instant payment upon application without manual roster checks or separate record-keeping at the site, significantly reducing citizens’ waiting times and greatly improving administrative efficiency.

In particular, the system is designed so that the head of a household can apply for and receive payments on behalf of all household members at once. This minimizes inconvenience for citizens who may have difficulty visiting in person, such as the elderly or families with multiple children. As a result, initial congestion during the payment period is expected to decrease, allowing for concentrated disbursement within a short timeframe.
