Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on January 28 that it held the inauguration ceremony for the third cohort of its university student fansumer club, 'Sol-lution,' on January 23.
'Sol-lution' is a university student participation program in which students propose ideas for Shinhan Investment Corp.'s brand and services from their own perspective and develop these ideas into outcomes that can be applied to actual business. The program is characterized by its hands-on approach, as participants not only make suggestions but also take part in practical work processes alongside employees to derive actionable solutions.
Participants in the third cohort of 'Sol-lution' will tackle monthly assignments on a variety of topics, including AI video and image content production, corporate partnership marketing, and collaboration proposals. They will work with Shinhan Investment Corp.'s professionals to further develop their ideas. In addition, a mentoring program with employees will be offered, providing university students interested in careers in finance with practical experience, according to the company.
This third cohort consists of a total of 20 students. They were selected through a document screening and interview process held at the end of last year, overcoming a competition ratio of approximately 37 to 1. Starting with the inauguration ceremony, they will participate in activities for about three months, with all participants receiving a monthly stipend. In addition, the top team will receive a prize of 2 million won and an exemption from the document screening stage of the open recruitment for new university graduates. Two outstanding teams will each receive a prize of 1 million won. Furthermore, the two best individual participants will be offered a three-month internship opportunity.
Shinhan Investment Corp. stated, "Through the activities of the third cohort of Sol-lution, we plan to actively incorporate the vivid opinions of university student customers into our services and brand, continuously improving the customer experience. By providing participants with hands-on experience, we believe this will create a virtuous cycle in which both the company and university students can grow together."
