On January 26, independent research firm ValueFinder analyzed that UDM Tech has once again proven its technological capabilities after receiving a call from Toyota, following Hyundai Motor Group.
Founded in 2007, UDM Tech specializes in solutions that monitor automation equipment in manufacturing sites in real time, automatically trace the causes of anomalies, and are tailored for fault verification and analysis through trend analysis. The company is believed to be the only one in the world to possess control program interpretation technology through machine language processing. Based on this proprietary technology, UDM Tech began collaborating with Hyundai Motor Group in 2009 and continues to provide controller maintenance for their factories.
Lee Chungheon, a researcher at ValueFinder, stated, "Last week, UDM Tech was invited to exhibit its products at Toyota's in-house exhibition in Japan," adding, "This exhibition is known as a strategic technology event where Toyota invites only companies with core technological capabilities among its global partners."
Lee further commented, "The fact that UDM Tech was invited to this exhibition once again demonstrates that its technology has been recognized by overseas companies, which is significant."
Lee also highlighted the potential for this technology to be expanded and applied to the industrial robotics sector. Recently, global manufacturers have been making large-scale investments to achieve 'AI autonomous manufacturing.' As a result, the standardization of 'mass production systems' for the stable supply of industrial robots has emerged as a key task.
UDM Tech is currently leading the market by proposing mass production standards within the industrial robotics sector based on its unique machine language processing technology. Lee believes that if this technology expands overseas, the integrated control solution could become a key driver for converting into a high-profit package model.
Lee stated, "Although UDM Tech is still relatively unknown in the market, it possesses the technological capabilities that global companies require. If this technology gains more attention, its future growth potential could soon translate directly into tangible results."
