This program is a practice-oriented education designed to prevent chronic diseases common in old age, such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, and to help elderly men who are not familiar with cooking prepare healthy meals on their own.

The education consists of nutrition theory classes led by a nutritionist from the Sinwol Health Center and practical cooking sessions taught by a professional cooking instructor. During the practical sessions, participants will prepare everyday menus such as beginner meals, birthday meals, and healthy meals.

The program will be held every Tuesday for a total of eight sessions from March 10 to April 28, taking place on the 4th floor of the Sinwol Health Center from 10 a.m. for about two hours each session.

Any man aged 65 or older (born before 1961) residing in Yangcheon District is eligible to apply, and the program will accept 16 participants. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from January 26 to February 27, either by visiting or calling the Sinwol Health Center. Since its launch in 2017, the "Father's Nutrition Classroom" has produced over 750 graduates in the past three years.

Opened in 2017, the Sinwol Health Center is a community-based health promotion hub that provides customized health services throughout the life cycle, including chronic disease prevention and management, rehabilitation exercise programs, and nutrition classes.
