On January 23, the Jeonnam Social Service Center held the "2026 Life-Sharing Blood Donation Campaign" as part of its commitment to ESG management.
According to the center, this campaign was organized in collaboration with the Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross to help address the winter blood supply shortage and to ensure a stable supply of blood needed for the treatment of patients with rare and intractable diseases, as well as those in critical condition.
On this day, employees of the Jeonnam Social Service Center, staff from its affiliated facilities, and members of the Jeonnam Social Welfare Council voluntarily participated, putting into practice the value of sharing life. The blood donation was conducted via a blood donation bus from the blood center, which visited the institution directly, making it more convenient for participants.
The campaign was especially meaningful as a public institution took the lead in promoting blood donation at a time when blood reserves are typically low. Participating employees took this opportunity to once again reflect on the importance of respect for life and social responsibility through their blood donations.
A representative from the center stated, "Blood donation is the most direct way to share life in our daily lives," and added, "We will continue to engage in social contribution activities that make a tangible impact in the local community, based on ESG management."
Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Social Service Center continues to strengthen the accountability of public social services, focusing on care and welfare, and is carrying out various initiatives to realize social values and improve the quality of life for local residents.
