Park's Recruitment to Accelerate Autonomous Driving
It has been reported that Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, left an encouraging message for Park Minwoo, who is departing for Hyundai Motor Group.
On the 23rd, Park shared via LinkedIn that CEO Jensen Huang encouraged him by saying, "It is important for Korea industry. Go and make us proud."
Park stated, "On the 23rd of next month, I will be joining Hyundai Motor as President and CEO of 42dot," adding, "I feel tremendous energy for the journey ahead, but leaving NVIDIA is both exciting and bittersweet."

Park joined NVIDIA in 2017 and was promoted every two years, eventually becoming Vice President in 2023. He was considered one of the very few-just 20 to 30-executives who communicated directly with Jensen Huang at NVIDIA.
Park wrote, "I had hoped to celebrate my 10th anniversary at NVIDIA, but as you know, life and career do not always go according to our plans," and added, "It saddens me when I think about the trust and friendships I have built at NVIDIA."
Hyundai Motor Group aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and autonomous driving technologies by bringing Park on board.
At a recent introductory meeting on the 19th with Hyundai Motor Group Vice Chairman Jang Jaehoon, executives, and 42dot executives, Park expressed his ambition, saying, "I want Hyundai Motor Group to become a leader in next-generation intelligent mobility, where technology and people are in harmony."
