The program included the awarding of scholarship certificates, the introduction of outstanding scholarship students, and presentations on scholarship training experiences. Networking activities such as team missions were also organized to foster connections and communication among the scholarship recipients.
The Incheon Airport Value Dream Scholarship Project provides scholarships and training opportunities to students in the Yeongjong area. Over the past 21 years, the program has supported a total of 1,005 scholarship recipients and awarded a cumulative 1.84 billion won, establishing itself as a leading local talent development initiative.
Last year, 70 students selected from seven high schools in the Yeongjong area each received a scholarship of 2 million won. In addition, three schools-Yeongjong International Logistics High School, Incheon Jungsan High School, and Incheon Haneul High School-were each awarded 20 million won in training expenses, totaling 60 million won in support.
In particular, the system was revised last year so that scholarship recipients can continue to receive benefits until their graduation from high school, allowing them to focus on their studies in a stable environment.
Additionally, the corporation introduced new social contribution activities for scholarship recipients, establishing a virtuous cycle in which beneficiaries give back to the local community.
Lee Hakjae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, "I am delighted that our scholarship program has produced more than 1,000 talented individuals from the local community. Going forward, we will continue our scholarship initiatives, not only providing financial support but also assisting Yeongjong area students throughout their journey to become future leaders."
