This workshop was organized to share the achievements of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), which secured a record-high 51,000 purchase rental units last year (49,000 newly constructed purchases and 2,000 existing purchases), contributing to the supply of housing in urban areas. It also aimed to recognize the efforts of the purchase rental housing practitioners.

Minister Kim stated, "Stability in the housing market comes from speed and responsibility in the field," adding, "I am truly pleased to join you in celebrating this record-breaking achievement, which was made possible by your steady efforts on the ground."

Minister Kim also held a "communication with the minister" session with the award recipients, listening directly to the challenges faced by practitioners during project implementation. He said, "Do not fear the consequences of decisions made in line with policy objectives; instead, carry out your work with confidence, always keeping the people at the center." He added, "The field experiences and voices you shared today will serve as the foundation for policy improvements, and the government will strongly support you through institutional reforms so that you can fully demonstrate your capabilities in the field."
