Yeungnam University, Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and iM Bank Sign Agreement to Promote ESG

The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Park Yunkyung) signed a tripartite business agreement with Yeungnam University and iM Bank on January 22 at the Cheonma Art Center of Yeungnam University to promote the spread of ESG and the creation of a sustainable ecosystem.


The signing ceremony was attended by Sanggil Lee, Executive Vice President of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Woechul Choi, President of Yeungnam University, and Sangsoo Choi, Vice President of iM Bank. The agreement was pursued to promote sustainable development in the local community and realize social value through cooperation among the institutions.

Through this agreement, the parties decided to cooperate on information exchange and research collaboration for sustainable management, joint promotion of sustainable social activities, and collaborative efforts to practice and spread ESG.


Sanggil Lee, Executive Vice President of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "ESG is no longer a choice but a core standard that determines the sustainable growth of companies and society. The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will do its utmost to strengthen the region's sustainable competitiveness through cooperation with Yeungnam University and iM Bank, and to help Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province become leading regions in ESG."
