Woori Bank Opens Gangnam BIZ Prime Center

Full-Scale Expansion of Productive Finance

Woori Bank announced on January 22 that it has opened the 'Gangnam BIZ Prime Center,' a specialized corporate finance organization dedicated to advanced strategic industry companies, in Gangnam, Seoul.

This center was newly established to provide optimized, customized financial support for companies in national advanced strategic industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), and future mobility. It will serve as a key hub for realizing 'productive finance,' supplying funds to companies based on their technological capabilities and growth potential.

In line with the opening of the center, Woori Bank will actively operate exclusive financial products such as the 'Woori Advanced Leading Company Loan' for technology-based companies in advanced strategic industries. In addition, the bank plans to support companies in securing the funding needed at each stage of growth through policy finance, agreements with guarantee institutions, and investment linkages, while also providing financial consulting to support companies' mid- to long-term growth.

Meanwhile, since the opening of the Banwol·Siwha BIZ Prime Center in July 2023, Woori Bank has been operating a total of 13 BIZ Prime Centers in major industrial complexes nationwide, including Incheon, Changwon, Busan, Gwangju, Cheongju, and Daejeon.

Jung Jinwan, President of Woori Bank, emphasized, "The Gangnam BIZ Prime Center is an outpost for productive finance that supports the growth of advanced strategic industries," and added, "We will further expand our role as a financial partner for mutual growth between companies and the bank."
