Oh Miseop of Gwangju Seo-gu Council Receives Plaque of Appreciation from Chipeong-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee

Oh Miseop, a member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, received a plaque of appreciation from the Chipeong-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee on January 20, in recognition of his contributions to improving the living environment and enhancing resident safety in Chipeong-dong.

The Chipeong-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee stated, "We decided to present this plaque of appreciation to Assemblyman Oh Miseop in recognition of his efforts to address local issues based on residents' voices and to support the implementation of essential projects in Chipeong-dong."

Assemblyman Oh has participated in village activities, including supporting improvements to the residents' community center, engaging in community clean-up efforts, and collaborating with the Residents' Autonomous Committee and the Community Social Security Council.

In particular, in line with the 'Reduced Carbon Village Chipeong' initiative, he supported the installation of an LED electronic display in the meeting room and the introduction of eco-friendly printers capable of printing promotional materials on paper. Through these efforts, he has simultaneously contributed to climate crisis response and improvements in the living environment.

Assemblyman Oh stated, "The plaque of appreciation given by the residents is the greatest gift I could receive in my legislative work," adding, "I will continue my legislative activities to improve the quality of life for residents and to create a safe and pleasant community throughout Seo-gu, including Chipeong-dong."

Meanwhile, Assemblyman Oh plans to continue his community-focused legislative activities, prioritizing action over words, with a focus on revitalizing resident autonomy, improving the living environment, and expanding eco-friendly policies.
