Hyundai Motor Group is strengthening its presence in the global market by achieving consecutive successes at major automotive awards in the United States and the United Kingdom, driven by outstanding product competitiveness and a broad lineup that includes electric vehicles.
At the '2026 What Car Awards' hosted by the UK automotive media outlet What Car, Hyundai Motor Group won a total of seven awards.
At this awards ceremony, Hyundai's Santa Fe was named 'Seven-Seater SUV of the Year,' the Ioniq 6 N was awarded 'Best Performance Electric Car,' Kia's Sportage was selected as 'Family SUV of the Year,' the PV5 Passenger as 'MPV of the Year,' the EV3 as 'Small Electric SUV of the Year,' the EV9 as 'Best Seven-Seater Electric SUV,' and the Genesis GV60 received the award for 'Best Interior in a Premium Electric SUV.'
The winning streak continued in the United States. Hyundai and Kia had a total of nine models named in the winners list at the '2026 Best Cars for the Money Awards' hosted by US News & World Report. Key models such as the Avante Hybrid, Tucson, Sportage Hybrid, Sorento, and EV9 received high marks for their performance relative to price and maintenance costs. Notably, the Avante Hybrid and Tucson each demonstrated their competitiveness by winning in the same category for five and three consecutive years, respectively.

The Kia Sportage Hybrid was selected as the 'Best Compact Hybrid SUV' for the fourth consecutive year, thanks to its spacious interior and excellent fuel efficiency.
In addition, Hyundai Motor Group reaffirmed its product competitiveness with four models-Hyundai Palisade, Ioniq 5, Kona, and Kia EV9-winning at the '2026 Best Buy Awards' selected by Kelley Blue Book. The Ioniq 5 and EV9 succeeded in winning for the fourth and third consecutive years, respectively.
