Bithumb is ushering in the New Year of 2026 by continuing its commitment to sharing through a blood donation volunteer activity involving its employees.
On January 21, Bithumb announced on the 23rd that it had conducted a blood donation and blood donation certificate volunteer activity for its employees at a blood donation bus set up in front of the main entrance of Samwon Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This event marked the first blood donation activity of the year, organized to begin the New Year with an act of sharing.
As with previous events, this blood donation drive was carried out through the voluntary participation of employees. Fifty employees who took part in the blood donation also joined in donating their blood donation certificates using a collection box provided on-site. The collected blood and certificates will be delivered to charitable organizations.
Bithumb has been consistently engaging in social contribution activities by holding annual blood donation drives and donating blood donation certificates, rather than limiting such efforts to one-off events. Through these initiatives, the company not only contributes to the stabilization of the blood supply but also fosters a culture of sharing life throughout the organization by encouraging direct employee participation.
A Bithumb representative stated, "We hope that the small acts of our employees, gathered through the first blood donation of 2026, will help save precious lives," adding, "We will continue to pursue sharing activities that our employees can practice in their daily lives."
