"Jeep Celebrates 85th Anniversary with Various Special Editions"
Bangsil, CEO of Stellantis Korea, stated, "This year, I will focus my greatest efforts on further increasing customer satisfaction." She expressed her ambition to create a virtuous cycle in which customer satisfaction leads to greater brand loyalty, increased sales, and improved profitability, which in turn enables reinvestment for customer satisfaction. She also indicated that, having cleared out all accumulated unsold inventory, the company can now focus on customers.

At a press conference held on January 22 at Gangnam Finance Center in Seoul's Gangnam district, CEO Bang said, "While the past two years since my appointment have been about strengthening fundamentals, this year we will pursue customer-centric activities."
She explained, "Last year, through the 'Stellantis Brand House' strategy, we transitioned to an integrated operation that manages both Jeep and Peugeot simultaneously. This not only improved dealer profitability but also played a significant role in enhancing the customer experience."
She continued, "By dramatically improving our service centers, the customer satisfaction index rose by 23 points compared to 2024. Additionally, by introducing a consignment sales system, we reduced dealer inventory to zero, thereby strengthening dealer profitability. This has given us the capacity to reinvest in the customer experience."
In 2025, Stellantis Korea sold 979 Peugeot vehicles and 2,072 Jeep vehicles in South Korea. Peugeot sales increased by 3.4% year-on-year, while Jeep sales decreased by 21.2%.
Regarding the decline in Jeep sales, CEO Bang explained, "Sales decreased because the Grand Cherokee Hybrid and Renegade were discontinued last year. On the other hand, the launch of the Wrangler Special Edition led to a visible increase in sales."
She added, "Although the Jeep lineup has been reduced, we aim to strengthen our position as the original sports utility vehicle (SUV) brand as we celebrate the 85th anniversary of the brand this year. In the second half of the year, we plan to launch a partially updated Grand Cherokee model, which we expect will serve as the only mass-market vehicle in the Jeep lineup."
Regarding Peugeot, she emphasized her intention to solidify its position as an 'authentic French brand,' focusing on the 'All New 5008 Smart Hybrid (5008),' which began pre-orders on January 14.
CEO Bang stated, "The entire Peugeot lineup has undergone a generational change. The mid-size SUV 5008, with its unique features such as seven seats and a third row, will become a model that creates momentum for Peugeot."
She specifically noted that the domestic price of the 5008 is set at the lowest level worldwide. She said, "The Allure trim of the 5008 is priced at 48.9 million won, and the GT trim, limited to 3,000 units, is 55.9 million won. In France, the home market, the prices are 65.91 million won and 81.22 million won, respectively, while in the UK, they are 74.47 million won and 94.13 million won. I believe we have set the best possible price."

Regarding the launch of electric vehicle models, she said, "We are preparing to introduce the E3008 and E5008," but added, "We are working to launch them at prices customers can accept and under conditions that qualify for government subsidies."
Appointed in 2024, CEO Bang is the first female head of the Korean branch since its establishment. She has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry and is recognized as an expert with broad expertise in brand building, marketing, and sales strategy.
