All-in-One Access to Policies, Permits, and Public Projects via "Byeolbyeol Toktok!"
Yeongju City has launched a dedicated communication channel on KakaoTalk to deliver tourism administration information to tourism business operators and citizens all at once.
On January 22, Yeongju City announced that it has opened and is operating the KakaoTalk channel "Byeolbyeol Toktok! Yeongju City Tourism Industry Information Messenger" to provide tourism-related information to local tourism business operators and citizens more quickly and systematically.
"Byeolbyeol Toktok! Yeongju City Tourism Industry Information Messenger" is a tourism industry-exclusive channel utilizing Yeongju City's tourism brand "Byeolbyeol Yeo-yu Yeongju." Among local governments nationwide, Yeongju City is the first to operate a KakaoTalk channel specialized in the tourism industry. The channel was established to help tourism business operators more easily access complex administrative information.
Through this channel, real-time information will be provided on tourism policies and major initiatives, tourism business permits and administrative procedures, various subsidies and public contest opportunities, schedules for education sessions, briefings, and meetings for tourism business operators, updates on legal amendments, and seasonal safety management information.
In particular, the focus is on moving away from the previous reliance on individual official documents, the city website, or phone inquiries, enabling tourism business operators to easily view the information they need at a glance and avoid missing key administrative matters. The aim is to enhance both accessibility and efficiency in tourism administration through a field-oriented information delivery system.
Park Younghwa, Head of the Tourism Promotion Division of Yeongju City, stated, "Reflecting the reality that it is difficult for tourism business operators to grasp various policies and administrative procedures at once, we have established a dedicated communication channel," adding, "We will continue to strengthen communication with tourism business operators through tailored administrative support that can be felt in the field."
"Byeolbyeol Toktok! Yeongju City Tourism Industry Information Messenger" is open to both tourism business operators and general citizens. By adding the channel via QR code or KakaoTalk search, users can receive relevant information.
