Samsung Electronics’ Education Discount Mall ‘Galaxy Campus’ Surpasses 1 Million Members

Samsung Electronics announced on the 22nd that its official education discount mall, Galaxy Campus, which is operated for students and teachers, has surpassed 1 million cumulative members. This achievement comes about five years after the launch of Galaxy Campus in January 2021.

Galaxy Campus was initially launched as Samsung Electronics' official education discount mall for university and graduate students, as well as faculty members. The eligibility was later expanded to include high school students in 2022, and elementary, middle, and high school teachers in 2025. In addition to product discounts, the platform offers product usage tips, exclusive community services, and member events.

According to Samsung Electronics, university students accounted for about 80% of the registered members, making up the largest proportion. The most frequently purchased product categories on Galaxy Campus were smartphones, followed by wearables such as watches and Buds, tablets, and PCs.

Galaxy Campus offers up to 64% discounts on a total of 18 categories of Galaxy products-including smartphones, PCs, tablets, wearables, and accessories-for customers looking to purchase mobile devices for educational purposes. In fact, the number of pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 on Galaxy Campus has increased compared to previous models.

The platform also provides original content such as "Galaxy Tips," which introduces study methods utilizing Galaxy AI, and "Galaxy Teacher Tips," which presents Galaxy products and AI features that teachers can use in their classes. Interactive community events, such as AI study certification and teacher AI usage testimonials, are also available.

To celebrate surpassing 1 million Galaxy Campus members, Samsung Electronics has prepared a special event. Until January 31, a "Congratulations on 1 Million Members" comment event will be held, where participants will be selected by lottery to receive Baemin (Baedal Minjok) gift certificates. In connection with the Galaxy AI Academy promotion, customers who purchase event products and enter the event will be selected by lottery to receive either a 1 million won GalCamps scholarship or a Twosome Place mobile coupon.

Additionally, Galaxy Campus is offering popular models such as smartphones, wearables, tablets, and PCs at special educational discount prices. Exclusive benefits for purchases, including additional payment discounts and free gifts, are also provided.
