Shinhan Investment CEO Lee Sunhoon Reiterates Importance of "Internal Control": "Real Innovation"

First Half Branch Manager Workshop Held

"The principle that remains unchanged this year is internal control." Shinhan Investment Corp., under the leadership of Lee Sunhoon, has once again emphasized the importance of internal control.

According to Shinhan Investment Corp. on January 22, CEO Lee made this statement at the '2026 First Half Branch Manager Workshop' held the previous day at the Grand Ballroom of the FKI Tower in Yeouido, addressing all company executives and branch managers.

CEO Lee stated, "We must elevate our habits from individual practices to organizational practices," and stressed, "There is no innovation without personal change. Let us achieve real innovation by making proactive decisions and taking concrete actions to prepare for the future of finance." Previously, he had also declared that strengthening internal control would remain his top priority last year.

This workshop was attended by approximately 240 executives and branch managers. It was designed as an opportunity to share the direction of the company and each business group for this year, and to reinforce the attitude of leadership, based on independent thinking, genuine innovation, and concrete execution. In particular, the company explained that instead of a top-down approach to sharing management direction, all participants derived actionable plans for the 2026 agenda, with everyone involved in the process. Divided into 24 groups, the executives and branch managers engaged in discussions late into the night to internalize their group agendas and concretize their action items.
