SDT Supplies Immersion Cooling Solution to KETI Reliability Research Center

Supporting Research on Next-Generation Semiconductor Thermal Management

SDT, a company specializing in quantum standard technology, announced on January 22 that it has supplied its high-performance immersion cooling solution, "AquaRack," to the Reliability Research Center at the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI).

This supply was initiated to advance the thermal management and reliability testing environment for next-generation semiconductor components. Previously, some research sites faced difficulties in precise temperature control and data acquisition due to the lack of dedicated equipment, often resorting to filling simple containers with immersion oil for testing.

To address these issues, SDT provided a customized model optimized in both hardware and interface to suit the research objectives of the KETI Reliability Research Center. In addition to standardized servers, SDT specially manufactured a "dedicated mounting bracket" to accommodate various test objects, including small heat-generating chips. The front of the equipment was modified to be transparent, allowing researchers to visually monitor the status of the chips and the immersion process in real time, greatly enhancing research convenience.
