Introduction of Map-Based Location Feature
20% Beverage Discount for Subscribers
The reading platform KT Millie's Library has expanded its offline reading experience by introducing new features to its reader-friendly offline service, "Millie Place." These features include map-based location identification and space curation. Millie Place is a service that provides a comfortable reading environment at partner cafes nationwide, where subscribers can receive a 20% discount on beverages.
The core of this update is the enhancement of features that help users decide "where and how to read." With the newly added "Map" feature, subscribers can easily view the locations of Millie Place partner cafes at a glance and intuitively understand information about each space, such as subway accessibility and the surrounding atmosphere. Moving beyond the previous search-based approach, users can now explore options based on their actual movement routes.
Newly introduced features also include "Saved Places," which allows users to save and manage their favorite spaces, and a curation section called "Millie Place Pick," which suggests locations tailored to individual preferences and situations. Themed recommendations-such as cafes ideal for solitary contemplation or late-night reading spaces-help reduce the burden of choosing a place and support the development of personalized reading routines.
With this renewal, Millie's Library aims to seamlessly connect the previously online reading experience to everyday offline spaces. Currently, Millie Place has secured partnerships with 114 cafes nationwide and is preparing to expand its reading-based community through events like book talks and creative classes.
