Volunteer Activities Required After Course Completion

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 22 that it will be recruiting students for the "Lifelong Learning Talent Sharing" program, operated by the Yongin Lifelong Learning Center and the Giheung Lifelong Learning Center, for three days from January 27 to 29.

This program is a specialized initiative of the Giheung Lifelong Learning Center, designed to create a virtuous cycle of learning, sharing, and growth. Participants are required to engage in talent donation volunteer activities after completing the course. The volunteer hours will be officially recognized as community service.


The courses are comprised of two classes: "Cognitive Health" and "Sewing." The "Cognitive Health" class will be held at the Yongin Lifelong Learning Center every Thursday from February 5 to April 23 for a total of 12 weeks. The tuition fee is 45,000 won.


The Giheung Lifelong Learning Center will offer a 20-week "Sewing" class every Thursday from February 5 to June 18. The tuition fee is 75,000 won.


Any Yongin resident aged 19 or older is eligible to apply. Employees working at companies located in Yongin, overseas Koreans whose registered address is in Yongin, and marriage immigrants are also eligible. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Yongin Lifelong Learning Center website.
