Ziker is a premium electric vehicle brand produced by Geely, a complete vehicle manufacturer owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in China. The brand has been growing rapidly in the global electric vehicle market. The 6-seater flagship SUV '9X', which incorporates cutting-edge technology, has received positive feedback from consumers since its launch last year. The model has attracted attention for its high-performance driving capabilities and a digital cockpit featuring premium displays. Since November last year, the 9X has ranked first in sales for two consecutive months in the large SUV segment priced at around 500,000 yuan (approximately 100 million won) in China, establishing itself as the company’s most popular model.

Samsung Display first supplied OLED panels to Ziker’s '009' model in 2024, and has continued its partnership since then. For the 9X, Samsung Display provides a 16-inch Center Information Display (CID), a 16-inch Public Information Display (PID), and a 17-inch Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) display for vehicles.

The 16-inch CID and PID are arranged side by side from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat. Thanks to the ultra-thin bezels and true black unique to OLED, these displays offer a seamless, large-screen experience as if they were a single panel. They can also function independently, allowing users to customize each screen according to their preferences or needs.

In particular, the 17-inch RSE mounted on the vehicle’s ceiling features the world’s first 'wing-style sliding screen', co-developed by Samsung Display and Ziker. The wing-style sliding screen can be adjusted along rails installed on both sides of the vehicle’s interior, allowing it to move up to 88 centimeters between the second and third rows. This innovation perfectly addresses the issue of fixed RSE displays in three-row, six-seater SUVs, which are often difficult to view from the third row. The expansive 17-inch screen, combined with OLED’s wide viewing angles, high contrast ratio, and perfect 'true black', instantly transforms the 6-seater SUV into a premium cinema space.

Choi Yongseok, Executive Vice President of Automotive Sales at Samsung Display, stated, “Samsung Display’s automotive OLEDs offer not only high brightness but also perfect true black image quality, making them the optimal solution for a premium mobility experience. We will continue to introduce high-performance products with differentiated value, strengthen partnerships with global automakers, and lead the growth of the automotive OLED market.”

Xu Yun, President of Ziker Automotive Research Institute, said, “With Samsung Display’s OLED, which is regarded as the best in the field, we were able to create a luxurious cinema space and interior that befits the 9X. In particular, the large screen optimized for a 6-seater layout will provide customers with a unique driving experience.”
