Lotte Department Store Signs MOU with Pernod Ricard to Lead High-End Whiskey Market

Exclusive Launch of High-Aged and Rare Whiskeys
Premium Partnership Services Including VVIP Experience Content

Lotte Department Store announced on the 21st that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with the liquor company Pernod Ricard Korea to take the lead in the domestic high-end whiskey market.


Through this agreement, the two companies will establish premium services that can only be enjoyed at Lotte Department Store. They plan to exclusively launch high-aged and limited-edition products from the top-tier single malt lineup at Lotte Department Store, and will sequentially introduce high-quality partnership services such as VVIP experience content in collaboration with Pernod Ricard Korea.

On the 28th, Lotte Department Store will be the first to release the "Aberlour 50 Year Old," which is limited to just 20 bottles worldwide. The "Aberlour 50 Year Old" is the highest-aged product in the brand’s history and is a rare whiskey that has become a major topic among whiskey collectors and enthusiasts.


In February, a promotion will be held in the Busan area where customers can experience Pernod Ricard’s signature single malt whiskey lineup, including "Ballantine’s Glenburgie," "The Glenlivet," and "Aberlour," all in one place.
