President Lee Jaehyuk of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation: "Children's Safety Must Take Top Priority as a Social Value"... 'Safety Musical' Event

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jaehyuk) held the 'Visiting Safety Musical' event as a project selected through a social contribution contest, in collaboration with the Children's Safety Mutual Aid Association. This program was designed to help children naturally learn everyday safety rules and enhance their ability to respond to emergencies through performance-based safety education tailored to their level.

This event targeted children living in the provincial government new town and was structured as an experiential safety education program, allowing children to easily understand essential safety rules for daily life through performance content. The corporation and the Children's Safety Mutual Aid Association aimed to increase children's engagement and raise safety awareness through participatory activities.

The musical focused on traffic safety as its main theme, covering pedestrian safety (such as crosswalk and signal compliance), awareness of blind spots in parking lots and apartment complexes, and vehicle boarding and disembarking safety (including wearing seat belts). The performance incorporated quizzes and participatory activities to further enhance the educational effect.

Additionally, on January 21, the corporation plans to visit the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Police Agency daycare center in the new town to present a children's hand puppet show on the theme of indoor safety. Through this, the organization intends to convey accident prevention rules that can be applied in everyday spaces at a level appropriate for children.

Lee Jaehyuk, President of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, stated, "Children's safety is a social value that must take top priority," adding, "We have prepared this program so that children can participate joyfully while learning essential safety rules. We will continue to focus on social contribution activities centered on safety and care for future generations in partnership with the local community."

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation plans to use this event as an opportunity to further expand support for children's safety education and strengthen cooperation systems to spread a culture of safety throughout the local community.
