This forum is part of the Glocal University 30 project and aims to discuss the structural challenges and practical solutions surrounding youth settlement in local regions from multiple perspectives. The forum seeks to contribute to the joint growth of universities and local communities and to facilitate meaningful discussions among local experts, youth, and regional stakeholders. Anyone interested in regional settlement is welcome to participate.

The forum will consist of two main sessions. The morning session features a campus tour, offering participants a firsthand experience of Hallym University's educational and living infrastructure. Attendees will visit the Campus Life Center and Ilsong Memorial Library, the most frequently used spaces by students, and will also enjoy a guided tour of the university museum.

In the afternoon, "Session 1: Youth and Regional Settlement" will feature presentations by local experts and youth (current students). Local experts will address policy conditions and the roles of local communities and businesses in supporting youth settlement. Following this, "Session 2: Youth Regional Settlement" will have Hallym University students share their perspectives on settlement, including issues such as employment in Gangwon Province.

Sung Siil, Director of the Regional Settlement Support Center at Hallym University, stated, "We are preparing the forum with a focus on discussion to encourage interaction among various stakeholders," adding, "We expect this event to provide an opportunity to translate the somewhat distant concept of 'settlement' into the language of everyday life."

Meanwhile, after the forum concludes, a networking dinner will be held for participants to lay the groundwork for ongoing cooperation in support of regional settlement.
