Yeoncheon County Holds 'Small and Medium Business Support Project Briefing Session' to Boost Local Economic Vitality

Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 20 that it held the "2026 Small and Medium Business Support Project Briefing Session" at the Yeoncheon County Comprehensive Welfare Center on the 16th to help the growth of local small and medium-sized enterprises.

This briefing session was organized to introduce a variety of support policies for small and medium-sized enterprises, with the participation of 10 related organizations including the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups. It also provided sector-specific consultations to address the challenges faced by businesses.


The participating organizations explained support projects in various fields such as startup assistance, financial support, technology development, and market expansion, and offered practical help through one-on-one customized consultations with local business owners and prospective entrepreneurs in Yeoncheon.


In particular, Yeoncheon County published and distributed the "Guidebook for Excellent Products of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" and a pocket-sized "2026 Small and Medium Business Support Project Guidebook" at the event. By organizing the extensive and complex support policies in an easy-to-understand format, the county enhanced both the understanding and practical usability for business owners.


An official from Yeoncheon County stated, "We hope this briefing session will help local businesses systematically understand and actively utilize support projects," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort in providing various support measures for business growth and revitalization of the local economy."
