Boseong County Recruiting Participants for First Half-Year Direct Employment Projects

Expanding Job Experience Opportunities for Young People
Applications Accepted at Town and Township Administrative Welfare Centers Until January 30

Boseong County in South Jeolla Province announced that it is recruiting participants for the first half of the year direct employment project (public job projects and local community job projects) until January 30, as part of its employment measures to expand job opportunities for young people and support economically vulnerable groups facing employment difficulties.


This project is scheduled to run for approximately four months, from February 23 to June 30. Boseong County plans to select and assign 36 people for 30 public job projects and 12 people for 5 local community job projects.

Main projects include maintenance of tourist attractions such as the Boseong Yeolseonru Yi Sun-sin History and Culture Park, Metasequoia Road, and Jungsumun Ecological Park; improvement of cultural and recreational spaces such as Boseong Hyanggyo and Beolgyo Ecological Park; as well as local environmental maintenance.


Notably, this year, the recruitment scale has increased by 75% compared to the previous year, as Boseong County is recruiting youth coordinators for the Youth Center, BS Youth Market, and Jeamsan Natural Recreation Forest, as well as for Bangjingwan. In addition, the county is recruiting youth helpers for the Beolgyo Bus Terminal, youth companion managers for the public health center, and youth guides (docents) for the Korea Tea Museum.


Eligibility is limited to Boseong County residents aged 18 or older as of the project start date, who belong to households with a median income of 60% or less and assets under 400 million won. However, for projects recruiting young people aged 18 to 49, anyone residing in Boseong County as of the announcement date (January 19) is eligible to apply, regardless of income or assets.


The selection results will be individually notified to successful applicants around February 20, based on a comprehensive evaluation of income, assets, and other qualification criteria.
