The "International Financial Institutions" book was first published in 1976, and a total of seven editions and revisions were released through 2018. This latest revision, the first in eight years since 2018, covers the elevated status, recent activities, and key agendas of international financial institutions and international forums following the pandemic.

The book consists of three parts and 18 chapters, covering global financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), regional financial institutions such as ASEAN+3, and development financial institutions such as the World Bank (WB).

This is the first time the Bank of Korea has published the book in e-book format, and it is currently available for free on Google Play Books. It will also be released sequentially on bookstore platforms such as Kyobo Bookstore. A print-ready PDF file will also be posted on the Bank of Korea's website.
