On January 20, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK had sold out all seats for their third world tour concert at Tokyo Dome in Japan, attracting a total audience of 165,000 over three days.
BLACKPINK held the 'BLACKPINK World Tour Deadline in Tokyo' at Tokyo Dome from January 16 to 18. This marks their third concert at Tokyo Dome, following previous performances in 2019 and 2023.
During the concert, BLACKPINK opened the stage with hit songs such as 'Kill This Love' and 'Pink Venom.' They also performed fan favorites ranging from their debut tracks 'Whistle' and 'Boombayah' to 'Jump,' which was released during this tour.
The members shared their thoughts, saying, "We received great energy over the three days," and added, "We want to express our love and gratitude to our fans."
To coincide with the concert period, relay pop-up stores were operated and collaborative merchandise (MD) was released. On the first day of the concert, a simultaneous light-up campaign was held at four major towers in Japan: Tokyo Tower, Kobe Port Tower, Nagoya Mirai Tower, and Sapporo TV Tower.
After finishing their Tokyo Dome concerts, BLACKPINK will continue their tour at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium from January 24 to 26. This will mark the finale of their world tour, which has spanned 33 performances across 16 cities.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to release their third mini album 'DEADLINE' at 2 p.m. on February 27. This will be their first full-group album in approximately three years and five months since their second studio album 'BORN PINK.'
