Daewoo E&C to Offer 10 Commercial Units at 'Gwangyang Prugio Center Park' This Month

"Low Ratio of Commercial Units to Households Increases Scarcity Value"
Minimum Bid Price Set at 193.2 Million Won Per Unit

Daewoo E&C announced on January 20 that it will begin selling commercial units within the 'Gwangyang Prugio Center Park' complex in Yonggang-eup, Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do, on January 24.


'Gwangyang Prugio Center Park' is a large-scale residential complex consisting of 10 buildings with 992 households, ranging from three basement levels to 29 floors above ground. The complex was completed in December of last year, and residents have already begun moving in. The commercial area within the complex will be located on the first floor of two buildings, comprising a total of 10 units.


Daewoo E&C explained that these commercial units are highly valuable due to their scarcity, as there are only 10 units available despite a steady demand from residents. Each of the 10 units is compact, with an exclusive area of 42.6 square meters (approximately 12 pyeong). The frontage of each unit has been designed to be 5 meters wide, maximizing both space utilization and visibility.

The sale will be conducted through an open competitive bidding process, which will take place at the Gwangyang Prugio Center Park model house in Inseo-ri, Gwangyang-eup, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on January 24. The bid deposit is set at 10 million won per unit and must be transferred to a designated account before submitting the bid application. Successful bidders will be announced on the same day, and contracts will be signed with the winning bidders. The minimum bid price has been set at 193.2 million won (including VAT) per unit.


A Daewoo E&C representative stated, "The ratio of commercial units to households is very low, and the units are compact, so we expect strong interest from both investors and end users. With the fixed demand from 992 households and additional potential demand from more than 4,000 households in the surrounding area, the investment value is high and a stable commercial district is expected to form in the future."
