Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon’s Agency, Receives Presidential Citation for Contributions to Hosting APEC Summit

Galaxy Corporation, an artificial intelligence (AI) entertainment technology company, announced on January 20 that it has received a Presidential Citation for its contributions to hosting the 2025 APEC Summit in Korea.

Galaxy Corporation supported the operation of the summit by having its artist G-Dragon appointed as the official APEC ambassador and by being selected as an official sponsor of the summit. Choi Yongho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, led the company to receive this Presidential Citation following G-Dragon’s achievement as the youngest recipient of the Ok-Gwan Order of Cultural Merit.

G-Dragon gave a special performance at the welcome dinner. World leaders, including Chilean Foreign Minister Alberto van Klaveren and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, recorded the performance on their mobile phones. President Lee Jaemyung and Chinese President Xi Jinping also attended the performance together.

Galaxy Corporation and G-Dragon presented the attending leaders with a light stick package carrying the message “Peace with Create.”

A representative from Galaxy Corporation stated, “It was an honor to participate in the APEC Summit, promote the status of Korean culture, and contribute to the nation’s influence,” adding, “It was a meaningful occasion that showcased the power of Korean content.”
