On January 19, SPOTV announced, "Heewon Han, a first-generation LPGA golfer, will lead the way, joined by Na-Yeon Choi, In-Kyung Kim, Hee-Kyung Seo, and So-Yeon Ryu-each representing their era as icons of the sport-as new SPOTV golf commentators. Drawing on their extensive experience, they will share in-depth golf insights that can only be felt on the field with viewers." Starting this year, SPOTV will broadcast LPGA Tour tournaments live.
The combined number of victories achieved by Heewon Han, Na-Yeon Choi, In-Kyung Kim, Hee-Kyung Seo, and So-Yeon Ryu on tours around the world totals 63 wins. Heewon Han explained, "Because golf does not have fixed answers, it is important to provide commentary that helps viewers easily understand the players' current situations with appropriate explanations for each scenario."
So-Yeon Ryu, the "youngest" who retired in 2024, said, "My role is to make the players' performances even more engaging for viewers," adding, "I will also share helpful tips for those who play golf themselves."
