Xiaomi Korea will officially launch the POCO M8 5G smartphone under the POCO brand in the domestic market on January 26. Prior to this, pre-orders will be available from midnight on January 19 until January 25 through the official online store Mi.com and major online sales channels.
The newly released POCO M8 5G offers a lightweight design at 178g and a large 5,520mAh battery, providing a stable and extended entertainment experience for watching videos, gaming, and enjoying various types of content.
As a first purchase benefit, from January 26 to February 8, customers will receive a complimentary power bank worth 24,800 KRW, along with various other benefits such as a two-month YouTube Premium subscription.
Mi.com is also offering exclusive deals. During the initial purchase period, customers who purchase both the POCO M8 5G and the Redmi Buds 6 Play (Blue) wireless earphones on Mi.com can take advantage of a bundle offer, purchasing the earphones-originally priced at 10,980 KRW-for a 50% discounted price of 5,490 KRW.
The first 100 customers to make a purchase will receive a 10,000 KRW Starbucks gift card. However, for those who pre-ordered with a deposit, eligibility for the first-come, first-served benefit will be determined based on the time of final payment.
The POCO M8 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile platform and has achieved a performance score of over 850,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. It supports the latest artificial intelligence (AI) features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search, delivering a more practical user experience.
With its large 5,520mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging, users can comfortably enjoy extended video viewing or gaming sessions. The device supports memory expansion up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of external storage, reducing concerns about content storage space.
The POCO M8 5G features a design that is 7.35 mm thick and weighs 178g, making it the thinnest model in the POCO M series. Its ultra-slim and lightweight body with a dual-curved design offers a sophisticated appearance and a comfortable, secure grip.

The POCO M8 5G is available in three colors: black, green, and silver. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at a recommended retail price of 339,900 KRW. The new product can be purchased at Xiaomi stores nationwide, as well as through the official online store and major online sales channels.
