IWill Media's New Release
IWill Media released the poster for its upcoming short-form drama "Free from Dreams" on January 19.
"Free from Dreams" is an academy fantasy series based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. It follows Jungmin, a high school girl tormented by school violence, who meets a mysterious man named Siyoon in a lucid dream and is offered a chance at revenge.
Actor Yoo Seonho plays Siyoon, who moves between dreams and reality, while Yeo Juha portrays Jungmin, who seeks revenge in her lucid dreams. Chu Siwoo appears as Jaehyuk, who shakes Jungmin's heart, and Kwon Chaewon plays Juhyun, the school's power broker.
The group poster released on this day highlights the relationships among the four main characters. The character poster featuring Yoo Seonho, also unveiled, emphasizes the protagonist Siyoon against a school backdrop.
Yoo Seonho said, "Despite the short filming period, the production team worked together to complete the project," adding, "I hope viewers will also enjoy the drama." Yeo Juha shared, "I was so happy just to be on set because of the great teamwork with the staff," and added, "I am grateful to play Jungmin, a beloved character from the original webtoon."
Chu Siwoo commented, "It was a time when I was able to face my shortcomings and learn," and expressed sincere gratitude for the efforts of the director and staff." Kwon Chaewon, who took on the challenge of playing a delinquent student, said, "I achieved my goal of appearing in a school drama through this project," adding, "Since it was my first attempt, I put a lot of thought and affection into the role, and I am looking forward to the results."
"Free from Dreams," co-produced by IWill Media and Creek & River Entertainment, is currently in post-production.
