This agreement was established to connect the professional staff and educational resources of the Leeum Museum of Art (Seoul) and the Hoam Museum of Art (Yongin), operated by the Samsung Foundation of Culture, with Gyeonggi Shared Schools, supporting students in expanding their artistic capabilities through exploration, experience, and expression in cultural and artistic spaces.

The main points of the agreement include: ▲joint operation of art programs at Gyeonggi Shared Schools, ▲utilization of museum programs and educational facilities, and ▲mutual cooperation to support student growth based on culture and the arts. Through this collaboration, both organizations plan to connect educational resources inside and outside of schools and expand a cooperative structure that enables each student's talents and potential to lead to real growth.

As the first collaborative project, the Hoam Museum of Art will host the "Art Museum Explorers - Art Found in the Garden" program for middle school students in the province. This participatory project, conducted with artists at the museum, focuses on cultivating the senses and thinking skills of future art talents through exploration, observation, discovery, recording, and expression.

At the signing ceremony, Superintendent Taehee Lim stated, "Gyeonggi Shared Schools are a policy that supplements education that is difficult to provide within schools by collaborating with the local community," adding, "It is meaningful to be able to connect the valuable cultural and artistic resources of local museums."

He further emphasized, "Art education should go beyond simple viewing to become a process of developing interpretation and perspective through observing works of art," and added, "We will expand cooperation with the local community so that students' sensibility and thinking skills can grow together through cultural and artistic education."

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to continue building an educational ecosystem in which each student's talents and potential are connected to learning and growth, based on ongoing cooperation with the local community.
