The subsidiary of TS Trillion has successfully secured consecutive contracts for data center power infrastructure projects.
On January 19, TS Trillion announced that its subsidiary, BBR Company, has signed a contract worth approximately 14 billion KRW to supply and build VERTIV (Vertiv) UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems for a data center located in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
This project was initiated amid rapidly growing demand for uninterrupted power operations and the construction of highly stable and reliable infrastructure in data centers, driven by the expansion of AI and cloud services. UPS is a core facility that ensures continuous operation of servers and key IT equipment even in the event of power outages or power quality issues, and its importance is increasing with the proliferation of high-power, high-density AI servers.
Through this contract, BBR Company has secured an additional reference for building power infrastructure optimized for AI server environments. In particular, winning the contract with equipment from Vertiv, a global power and cooling solutions provider, has further established the company’s technological credibility.
Vertiv has recently unveiled a new power and cooling reference architecture tailored for next-generation AI data centers, known as 'AI Factories,' and is recognized as a leading global supplier of key equipment in the ecosystem, including for companies such as NVIDIA and Amazon.
TS Trillion plans to leverage BBR Company’s experience in executing projects with top-tier global equipment to expand its contract portfolio, focusing on AI and hyperscale data centers in the future.
BBR Company became a subsidiary of TS Trillion after TS Trillion acquired 100% of its shares for 4.9 billion KRW. The company is structured to comprehensively handle supply, construction, and maintenance of data center power facilities and cooling systems.
With this project, the company aims to expand its references for building high-efficiency, high-reliability power systems, and accelerate contract wins not only in the domestic data center power and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) market but also in AI and cloud data centers.
This contract for the Goyang data center follows the recent win of the Ansan AI Data Center MEP project (worth approximately 18.95888 billion KRW), drawing further attention. The market views these consecutive contract wins as evidence that TS Trillion has established a stable new business system in the data center power infrastructure sector.
