Nine Students Participate in Overseas Employment Program
31 Graduates Successfully Enter Japanese Job Market

Dong-Eui University of Science and Technology (President Kim Youngdo) announced on January 19 that it had operated the "2025 Cheonghaejin University Winter Overseas Training" program from January 5 to 8.

Nine current students hoping to work in Japan participated in this program, receiving intensive Japanese language training, on-site education to enhance their understanding of Japanese culture, and practical training to improve their adaptability abroad. The training covered both professional and everyday life aspects, which significantly increased participant satisfaction.

Overseas employment, which had slowed for a while due to COVID-19, has regained momentum since Japan reopened its borders in early 2022. Dong-Eui University of Science and Technology has continued to achieve steady employment results in Japan through the Cheonghaejin University program. Since two graduates were first hired in 2019, a total of 31 students have found employment at Japanese companies: three in 2020, one in 2021, nine in 2022, ten in 2023, and six in 2024.

Kim Sungwon, head of the university's Career Support Center, said, "Based on close cooperation with Japanese companies, we operate a systematic, practice-oriented curriculum. We will actively support our students so that they can successfully secure stable overseas employment through tailored job assistance and step-by-step management before, during, and after the training."

Dong-Eui University of Science and Technology has been selected as a "Cheonghaejin University" operating institution for eight consecutive years, and is committed to strengthening students' global competitiveness through a variety of global education programs, including overseas employment-linked training courses.
