Gala Dinner to Be Held at 'Saerasae' Fine Dining in Art Paradiso on February 7
Seven-Course Premium French Dinner and Four Wine Pairings Offered
Paradise announced on January 19 that it will host a gala dinner featuring French chef Eric Pras at 'Saerasae,' the fine dining restaurant located inside the luxury boutique hotel Art Paradiso at Paradise City, a resort complex in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
Chef Eric Pras is recognized as a master of gastronomy, having received the prestigious 'Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF)' award in 2004. This award is the highest honor given by the French government to officially acknowledge outstanding skill and expertise in a particular field. The blue, white, and red tricolor collar he always wears signifies his status as a 'master artisan.'
The restaurant he operates, 'Maison Lameloise,' located in Chagny, Burgundy, France, has maintained a Michelin three-star rating in the global gastronomy guide since 2007. The Shanghai branch, which he also operates, was awarded one Michelin star in 2020.
Chef Eric Pras's culinary philosophy is 'evolution within tradition.' His courses reflect the depth of cuisine that pursues the evolution of gastronomy while preserving the traditions of French fine dining. Signature dishes include escargot wrapped in puff pastry, Chagny-style pigeon, and Suzette-style crepe desserts.
Guests will be able to fully experience Chef Eric Pras's culinary philosophy at the gala dinner to be held on February 7. The dinner course will begin with an appetizer toast topped with escargot and octopus, followed by crispy rice puffs with langoustine, sabayon with swordfish and sea urchin sauce, scallops with black truffle, and beef fillet. For dessert, Valrhona chocolate & cassis and a trio of mini desserts will be served. Four types of wine pairings will also be offered, including champagne, white wine, red wine, and dessert wine.
To celebrate Chef Eric Pras's gala dinner, Art Paradiso is also offering a room package for a comfortable gourmet getaway. The 'Eric Pras Gala Dinner & Stay' package includes the gala dinner for two adults, late check-out service, access to the swimming pool and sauna, premium spa Cimer, and valet parking.
A Paradise City representative stated, "This gala dinner is not just a meal, but a great opportunity to experience the culinary philosophy of the master chef Eric Pras," adding, "Paradise City will continue its efforts and activities to advance food and beverage culture, further elevating our F&B content."
