The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Pocheon, the Chairperson and members of the Pocheon City Council, members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, senior city officials, and heads of local institutions and organizations, who exchanged opinions with the residents.
The meeting began with an overview of the city administration’s direction, followed by a presentation of the main achievements in 2025 and major plans for 2026. Key projects for each town and recent outcomes from previous meetings were also shared. Afterwards, residents’ suggestions were heard, and the relevant departments provided on-site responses.
At the Yeongbuk-myeon meeting, the main suggestions included improvements to senior center facilities, installation of sewage pipelines, paving of farm roads, and addressing environmental issues-matters closely related to residents’ daily lives. Heads of the relevant city departments explained the feasibility of each proposal and the direction for future review on site.
At the Gwanin-myeon meeting, opinions focused on issues directly affecting the area, such as river maintenance and the creation of walking trails, construction of an artificial turf field, dredging of reservoirs, and solutions to odor problems from pig farms. Residents requested practical improvements and ongoing attention to these matters.

A city official stated, "Through the two meetings held on the same day, we were able to broadly identify the unique characteristics and needs of each area. We will thoroughly review the suggestions with the relevant departments and actively reflect them in city administration. Moving forward, we will continue to realize citizen-centered governance through ongoing communication."
Pocheon City plans to continue operating empathy and communication meetings in each town and district, strengthening communication-based administration so that voices from the field can be reflected in policies and projects.
