CJ Logistics Marks One Year of Maeil O-ne: Sunday Deliveries Up 67% CJ Logistics announced on the 19th that the volume of holiday deliveries, mainly for consumer goods, has significantly increased just one year after introducing the holiday delivery service "Everyday O-NE." CJ Logistics

According to CJ Logistics’ analysis of last year’s data, Sunday delivery volume in December increased by 67% compared to the beginning of the year. By product category, the volume expanded significantly, especially for daily consumer goods. Deliveries of maternity and childcare products surged by 316%, recording the highest growth rate. Due to the high frequency of sudden purchases in categories such as diapers, formula, and baby products, the impact of "Maeil O-ne" was particularly pronounced.

The fashion apparel and accessories category grew by 93%, boosted by weekend shopping effects, while the cosmetics and beauty category increased by 89%.

Food products, which were expected to be a major beneficiary category when Maeil O-ne was launched, also saw a 70% increase in volume. Previously, fresh food shipments were restricted before weekends and holidays due to spoilage concerns, causing difficulties for food sellers. However, with the introduction of Maeil O-ne, not only did the number of sales days increase, but inventory management also improved. The delivery volume of regional specialty products increased by 138% compared to the beginning of the year, greatly helping local agricultural and seafood sellers expand their sales channels.

The "other" segment, which includes C2C (consumer-to-consumer) deliveries, recorded a 140% growth rate. This result is attributed to CJ Logistics’ efforts to strengthen C2C deliveries, such as launching the "Immediate Delivery Service" for secondhand transaction users in partnership with Danggeun Market in September.

Based on these results, CJ Logistics will pursue a strategy to further enhance the "Maeil O-ne" service. The company plans to continuously expand the service coverage area and revamp its application to promote C2C deliveries. In collaboration with the National Merchants Association, CJ Logistics will establish a win-win logistics model for traditional markets, focusing on expanding sales channels for sellers and small business owners and increasing consumer satisfaction.

Yoon Jaeseung, Head of the O-ne Division at CJ Logistics, stated, "With Maeil O-ne, the delivery range has expanded and uninterrupted delivery has become possible, greatly increasing not only sellers’ sales opportunities but also consumers’ shopping convenience and satisfaction. We will continue to lead the growth of the parcel delivery industry ecosystem through ongoing service enhancements."
