Taste of "Black and White Chef 2" Star Chefs Now Available at GS25

GS25, a convenience store operated by GS Retail, announced on January 19 that it will launch collaborative products with chefs from the Netflix survival series "Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War Season 2" (Black and White Chef 2).

Starting this week, the official Instagram account will sequentially reveal the lineup of participating chefs, and by the end of this month, GS25 plans to release collaborative products such as ready-to-eat meals, desserts, alcoholic beverages, and snacks.

The collaboration will feature chefs including U Jeonguk of Seoul Mom, Lee Moonjeong known as the Chinese Cuisine Witch, and Choi Yugang. According to the company, signature dishes from these chefs will be recreated as exclusive GS25 products, offering customers a unique gourmet experience.

On January 14, a pre-order event for "Two Types of Black and White Cream Cakes," inspired by the main concept of Black and White Chef 2, was held on the Our Neighborhood GS application. Drawing from the show's format, where contestants compete as either "Black Spoon" or "White Spoon," GS25 first introduced the White Berry Cream Cake and Black Chocolate Cream Cake as special event menu items.

All available pre-order quantities sold out within three hours of launch. The cakes will be officially released in GS25 offline stores nationwide on January 27. Kim Sungjun, Head of Brand Marketing at GS Retail, stated, "Through these chef collaborations, we aim to further enhance the quality of convenience store ready-to-eat meals and turn these products into customer favorites."
