Third Career Win Since 2024 Soudal Open
Hillier Takes Second, McIlroy and Lowry Share Third
Nacho Elvira of Spain claimed victory at the 2026 DP World Tour Dubai Invitational, which had a total prize fund of 2.75 million dollars.
On January 18 (local time), at Dubai Creek Resort (par 71, 7,059 yards) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Elvira carded four birdies and two bogeys in the final fourth round. With a 2-under-par 69, Elvira finished with a total score of 10-under-par 274, securing a one-shot win. This marks Elvira's third career victory on the DP World Tour and his first in one year and eight months since the Soudal Open in May 2024. The winner's prize is 467,500 dollars (approximately 690 million Korean won).

Elvira started the final round with a two-shot lead and maintained momentum with birdies on the 1st, 4th, and 7th holes. Although he faltered briefly with consecutive bogeys on the 8th and 9th holes, he recovered by making par on the next seven holes and then sealed his victory with a birdie on the 17th hole (par 4). Last year, Elvira was in contention at the Genesis Championship held in Korea but handed the trophy to Lee Junghwan.
Daniel Hillier of New Zealand surged into second place (9-under-par 275) with a superb 6-under-par 65. Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland and Shane Lowry of Ireland shared third place (8-under-par 276). Lee Junghwan performed well with a 3-under-par 68 in the final round, finishing tied for 33rd (4-over-par 288) in this tournament.
