People Power Party Daegu City Chapter Establishes Economic Policy Committee... Kang Cheoljun Appointed Chairman, Koo Jinmo as Senior Advisor

The Daegu City Chapter of the People Power Party (Chair: Assemblywoman Lee Inseon) announced on January 18 that it has established the "Economic Policy Committee of the People Power Party Daegu City Chapter" to proactively address local economic issues and develop effective economic policies.

Kang Cheoljun, Executive Director of Taeyang Industries, has been appointed as Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee. Koo Jinmo, Chairman of Dongan ENC Co., Ltd., will serve as Senior Advisor. Lee Junghoon, CEO of KY Co., Ltd., has been named Senior Vice Chairman. Son Inho, CEO of Son Architects; Kim Sanggi, CEO of Onext; and Lee Kyungyong, CEO of Logopalace Design, have been appointed as Vice Chairmen. The position of Secretary-General has been given to Hong Hongju, CEO of Ezekiel Business Management Consulting.

The appointment ceremony, held on January 16, was attended by Lee Inseon, Chairwoman of the Daegu City Chapter; Jeon Kyungwon, Daegu City Council member; Kim Taewoo, Daegu City Council member; Park Jongpil, Daegu City Council member; Ha Taegyun, spokesperson of the Daegu City Chapter; and other key party officials. The event included sharing the current economic conditions and major issues facing Daegu, as well as discussions on the committee's future direction and role.

In her welcoming remarks, Lee Inseon, Chairwoman of the Daegu City Chapter, stated, "These days, the party is facing difficulties, and the local economy is in an even more challenging situation. We will do our utmost to overcome this crisis together and help the Daegu regional economy take another leap forward. I also hope that the Economic Policy Committee will serve as a strong policy platform for Daegu's economy."

The People Power Party Daegu City Chapter plans to actively pursue policy development and institutional improvements for the sustainable growth of Daegu's economy, focusing on strengthening local industrial competitiveness, supporting small business owners and the self-employed, creating jobs for local youth, and fostering future growth industries, with the Economic Policy Committee at its center.
