Kakao Tokdeal Launches Regular "Ssen Deal" Promotion
Six Types of Seller Coupons Offered to Nongshim Tok Channel Friends
Gradual Expansion of Brand Store Collaboration Model
Kakao Tokdeal is launching a regular promotion called "Ssen Deal," which offers select brand products at the lowest prices each month.
Ssen Deal is a monthly promotion in which Kakao collaborates with a single brand to offer products from that brand's store at highly competitive prices for a limited period. Through brand-specific benefits, users enjoy a more reasonable shopping experience, while brands gain increased visibility and opportunities to boost transactions within Tokdeal. Each promotion runs for approximately 79 hours, focusing on discounts for flagship products and specially curated sets.
The first brand to collaborate in the Ssen Deal is Nongshim. From 5:00 p.m. on January 18 until 11:59 p.m. on January 21, Kakao will offer various discounts through the "Nongshim Ssen Deal," including double coupons. During the promotion, friends of the Nongshim Tok Channel will receive six types of seller coupons, and friends of the Tokdeal Tok Channel will receive additional cart coupons and product-specific coupons. Some coupons can be used in combination, providing users with even greater discounts.
Featured products include the "Yuksagimsa Set" (Yukgaejang Cup Noodles and Kimchi Cup Noodles), a curated set containing Shin Ramyun, Ansungtangmyun, Neoguri, and Chapagetti, a popular snack set from Nongshim, the Bono Trio Pack, and Shin Ramyun Gold, among other signature items. Additional events and exclusive benefits will be available during a live broadcast starting at 8:30 a.m. on January 19.
Kakao plans to gradually expand its brand store collaboration model through Ssen Deal. In February, a Ssen Deal promotion with LG Household & Health Care is scheduled, and further collaborations with various brands are planned for the future.
A Kakao representative stated, "Ssen Deal is a collaborative model created by Kakao Tokdeal and brands together," adding, "We aim to develop it into a win-win model that provides price benefits to users and highly focused exposure and transaction opportunities for brands."
