"Thank You for 40 Years of Dedication"... Culture Minister Presents Plaque of Appreciation to Retiring Singer Im Jae-beom

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on January 18 that Minister Choi Hwi-young presented a plaque of appreciation to Im Jae-beom, who is concluding his 40-year career as a singer.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Choi Hwi-young visited the site of the "2025-2026 Im Jae-beom 40th Anniversary Concert I Am Im Jae-beom" held at Olympic Park K-SPO Dome on the 17th and presented a plaque of appreciation and a bouquet to Im Jae-beom.

On January 17, Minister Choi visited the site of the "2025-2026 Im Jae-beom 40th Anniversary Concert I Am Im Jae-beom" held at the Olympic Park K-SPO Dome and presented a plaque of appreciation to Im Jae-beom, who is wrapping up his 40-year singing career.

While presenting the plaque, Minister Choi expressed his gratitude, stating, "With your unparalleled artistic spirit and resonant voice, you have devoted yourself to the advancement of popular music. In particular, through numerous hit songs, you have provided great comfort to people's lives and made significant contributions to elevating the status of popular culture and the arts."
