Hana Financial Group announced on the 18th that it held a volunteer event on the 17th at its Myeongdong headquarters, where employees made toys for infants and toddlers in single-mother families to celebrate the New Year 2026.
This volunteer activity was organized to provide meaningful support to single-mother families who face difficulties in creating a nurturing environment for their young children. Over 100 members of the "Hana Love Volunteer Group," consisting of employees and their families, spent valuable time carefully hand-sewing rattles for infants and toddlers using organic fabrics, with close attention to the children's growth and emotional development.
Employees and their families who participated in the event completed every step themselves, from sewing to final packaging, putting their care and effort into making the toys for infants and toddlers. The rattles produced on this day are expected to help develop the children's sense of touch and hearing and also provide emotional stability through play with their caregivers.
To further ease the actual childcare burden on single-mother families, Hana Financial Group also prepared "Happiness Boxes" containing essential childcare items along with the rattles. Each Happiness Box includes a total of eight childcare products, such as the infant rattle, baby lotion, baby detergent, and baby handkerchiefs. One hundred Happiness Boxes, each carefully packed by employees and their families, will be delivered to facilities supporting single mothers and single-parent family welfare centers.
An official from Hana Financial Group's ESG Planning Team stated, "Our employees participated with one heart to provide even a small amount of support to single-mother families in need of infant care," adding, "Hana Financial Group will continue to share warmth with neighbors in need and grow together with the local community through ongoing activities."
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group continues to fulfill its social responsibilities and promote an inclusive society through various social contribution activities, including support programs for families with multiple children to address low birth rates, the "Hana Care Daycare Center" program that operates year-round, and the provision of meal boxes and Happiness Boxes for children in family care.
