Recently, Seonggeun Lim, a Korean Cuisine Master Chef who has gained popularity through his appearance on the Netflix variety show "Black & White Chef: Culinary Class War Season 2" (Black & White Chef 2), directly addressed allegations of school violence.

On the 16th, Chef Lim uploaded a cooking video titled "Super Simple Yukgaejang Recipe!" to his YouTube channel. In the video, he introduced a Yukgaejang recipe that can be completed in under ten minutes. During the video, Chef Lim said, "Do I cook violently?" and added, "Some viewers say, 'Lim Jjang' (Chef Lim's nickname) cooks violently, but I am a gentle person." He emphasized, "It just looks that way because my hands move quickly, not because I am violent."


He then addressed the unexpected school violence allegations related to his tough image, saying, "Because my personality is wild, some people ask if I was involved in school violence," and clarified, "I'm sorry, but I didn't attend school, so there was no school violence." He continued, "I left home in my third year of middle school to work and was brought back, and after entering high school, I left again right away," adding, "At that time, I didn't have time to commit school violence. So you don't need to worry about that," reassuring his fans.

Meanwhile, born in 1967, Chef Lim has devoted 43 years to Korean cuisine and gained fame by winning "Korean Food War 3" in 2015. Most recently, he has been appearing on Netflix's "Black & White Chef 2," where his unique wit and personality have earned him nicknames such as "Master of Arrogant Sauce" and "Middle-aged Beast," boosting his popularity.


On the same day, he posted on his social networking service (SNS), "Today, I wanted to share a sneak peek of the construction at my restaurant, which is set to open at Simhak Mountain in Paju," and clarified, "Currently, I am not personally operating any restaurant, so please keep that in mind to avoid any confusion."
